Whey protein (organic grass fed) is used for muscle repair and also helps the body produce glutathione which is a potent antioxidant. It protects against oxidative stress which is increased during exercise. Blanched almonds are nature’s richest source of bioavailable magnesium, needed for muscle relaxation. Banana and coconut water hydrates with water and electrolytes, including potassium, as well as providing natural sugars to replenish glycogen stores. Spinach is a nutrient dense leafy green particularly high in vitamin C, another of nature’s potent antioxidants. VITL Greens provides an extra dose of vital wholefood vitamins, mineral and antioxidants, as well an extra source of protein from spirulina and boost of energy from maca powder.
