Melon, parma ham and mozzarella summer salad recipe

A Mediterranean-style, Instagram-worthy summer salad!


Nutritional information (per serving) 304 Kcal, fat: unsaturated: 9.8g, saturated: 5.6g, carbohydrates: 20.4g (of which sugar: 15.4g), protein: 17.2g 

Serves 4 


  • 1 cantaloupe melon 
  • 8 slices of parma ham 
  • 1 mozzarella ball 
  • 4 handfuls of fresh rocket 
  • ¼ cup of fresh basil 
  • 2 fresh figs 
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil 
  • Black pepper 


1. Cut the melon in half, remove the seeds and cut into wedges

2. Place the rocket on your serving plate (save some for the very top), and lay the melon on top

3. Lay the parma ham on top, and tear the mozzarella and scatter the pieces over the top. Cut the figs into quarters and distribute around the dish. Add the basil around the top

4. When you are ready to serve, mix together the balsamic vinegar and olive oil and drizzle over the salad. Season with black pepper
